Dolly P

Dolly P , is a Lochin 33, a 10 metre Fibreglass boat powered by a 350hp turbo-charged Volvo-Penta Marine engine. The streamlined shape and powerful engine means that Dolly P can cruise at 15 knots and has a top speed of 21 knots, to get you speedily and comfortably to your destination. Dolly P is easily recognisable, as she is the only blue boat working out of St Ives Harbour and is definitely the boat that offers the most fun.

Licensed to carry 12 passengers and 2 crew, Dolly P has ample seating on the deck in a central position, for easy and comfortable viewing. Dolly P also has a full length waterproof canopy, to keep you protected, warm and dry, ideal if there is a threat of some rain, or to protect you from the heat of the sun.

Inside the cabin there is additional seating for 5 persons and a unisex flush toilet.

On longer trips, tea and coffee making facilities are available.

Dolly P carries all necessary life-saving equipment required by the licensing body the RYA to the standards set by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. She is licensed to COP2 and 60 miles from a safe haven. Dolly P is fitted with all the latest electronic safety and navigational aids, including DGPS, GPS, Radar, plot-router, VHF radio and on-board computer. She is also fitted with fish finder and a sound system for your enjoyment.

Our skippers are all local men with vast experience of boat handling and knowledge of the local waters.
