Our boat Dolly P, is named after Dolly Pentreath 1692-1777, the last fluent native speaker of the Cornish Language.
Our skipper Mike Laity is directly descended from Dolly Pentreath and Mike’s own daughter is also named Dolly Pentreath.

Dolly P was the first of the latest generation glassfibre boat to offer boat trips from St Ives. Built in 1981, by Lochin International, Dolly P, is powered by a 350hp Volvo-Penta turbo-charged engine.
